If you’re from the Marietta area, you’re probably familiar with this popular 10-acre park and green space. Taylor-Brawner features a gazebo, two picnic pavilions, walking trail, amphitheater, playground, and large open lawn space. Two on-site historic buildings from the site’s 19th-century days, Brawner Hall and the Taylor-Brawner House, have been preserved and fully renovated. The Taylor-Brawner House is available to rent for receptions, weddings, teas, meetings, classes, and other occasions for up to 75 guests.

If you’re looking for tennis facilities, Rose Garden Park is your go-to for competitive tennis matches! At 26 acres, Tolleson is among the largest parks in Smyrna, GA. If you need to please a lot of different recreational tastes at once, this one should make everyone happy! Tolleson is divided topographically into two parts: a lower section containing ball fields, a soccer field, sand volleyball, and playground facilities; and an upper section where you’ll find the pool and tennis courts. Joggers and dog walkers love the long paved trail, and tennis players make the trip from Kennesaw for Tolleson’s six tennis courts and scoreboards.

You can find this 3-acre park behind the Community Center on the Village Green. For those interested in indigenous plant life and wildlife photography, the Smyrna Arboretum and Pond is a real treat. You’ll also enjoy a pleasant view of the pond with its fountain and ducks. In fact, this spot is popular for special event photography, and you can rent the park’s gazebo for weddings and other events.

5.8-acre Cobb Park is located in a wooded setting just west of the city’s downtown area, which includes Kidscape Village. Kids will have fun in any of the parks above, but only Kidscape Village is one of the only parks in Smyrna, GA fully designed with kids in mind. Toddlers get their own smaller play structures, swings, and slides, while older kids will have a blast on more advanced playground sets. Picnic tables are conveniently located throughout the grounds, so parents can easily keep an eye on the activities. We’ve also found that Kidscape makes a great meeting place for playgroups!
